본 연구는 대인 간 외상 경험이 있는 성인이 외상 경험 개방 후 사회적 반응과 반추가 외상 후 성장(PTG)과 외상 후 저하(PTD)에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대인 간 외상 경험이 있는 성인 남녀 315명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 구조방정식 분석을 통해 각 변인 간의 상관관계와 사회적 반응과 외상 후 성장, 외상 후 저하의 관계에서 반추의 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 긍정적 사회적 반응이 의도적 반추를 매개하여 외상 후 성장에 영향을 주었고, 부정적 사회적 반응이 침습적 반추를 매개하여 외상 후 저하에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 부정적 사회적 반응은 의도적 반추를 매개하여 외상 후 성장에 영향을 주었고, 침습적 반추와 의도적 반추를 순차적으로 매개하여 외상 후 성장에 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 대인 간 외상 경험자의 외상 후 성장을 촉진시키기 위한 개입전략에서 사회적 반응과 반추의 중요함을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의, 한계점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논하였다.
Abstract
This study was to verify the effects of social reactions and rumination on posttraumatic growth (PTG) and posttraumatic depreciation (PTD) following disclosure of traumatic experiences in individuals with interpersonal trauma. An online survey was conducted on 315 adults with interpersonal trauma, structural equation analysis was performed. The main results were as follows: We found a mediating effect of deliberate rumination on the relationship between positive social reactions and PTG, a mediating effect of intrusive rumination on the relationship between negative social reactions and PTD, a mediating effect of deliberate rumination on the relationship between negative social reactions and PTG, and a sequential mediating effect of intrusive rumination and deliberate rumination on the relationship between negative social reactions and PTG.
