The purpose of this study was to investigate the types of career conflicts and how they are adapting to college life. The data was gathered from the college of education students who have a career conflict and analyzed through narrative inquiry. A major goal of this inquiry was to determine the problem of career education in secondary schools and teacher training course through the eyes of students who don’t want to be a teacher. Major findings of the study were as follows. First, the examinees have a positive image on the college of education, but the recognize the best alternative plan. Second, the examinees who have a experience of frustrated career adapted to college life in various forms. Third, although entered college of education, they didn’t want to be a teacher. So they had severe career conflict and stated dissatisfaction to curriculum at the college of education. The results of the study showed that highschool students are provided an opportunity to establish of identity and career exploration until a proper social system is established in an attempt to moderate the overheated entrance competition. And the examinees have a serious worry about career compared with other students. So career guidances were needed for students who don’t want to be a teacher.
