2014년의 세계는 격동의 시간을 보내고 있다. 전 세계에서 발생하는 정치적변동과 분쟁과 테러, 인명살상과 전염병, 기후변화로 인한 고통이 때문이다. 교회적으로 한국을 방문한 로마 가톨릭 교회의 교황 프란체스코, 교황의 터키 방문과 이슬람 사원에서의 메카를 향한 기도 참여는 전 세계 교회와 사람들에게 충격을 주었다. 특별히 중동지역의 끊임없는 종교전쟁과 석유가격의 인하, 동북아시아의 시진핑 국가 주석의 한국방문과 동북아시아의 정치적 줄다리기 속에서의 한국선교사들의 추방사태 등은 선교의 미래를 어둡게한다. 하지만, 선교학자가 보는 한국선교는 밝은 면도 있지만 어두운 면이 더많아 보인다. 한국선교의 미래를 긍정적으로 바라보기 위해 연구자는 과거사속의 한국 선교를 분석하면서 수적성장에 초점을 두었던 모습, 예수 그리스도가 선포되지 않은 프로젝트 사역과 선교의식 빈약이 가져온 비극을 현상학적으로 분석했다. 그리고 한국선교의 미래를 위해 경계와 차이를 넘는선교, 탈영토화 선교와 이주자 선교, 인재자원개발 시스템이 선교의 미래라는 것을 주장하면서 단기자원자 동원과 현지자원자운동을 통하여 다시 예수그리스도 중심 진리를 선포하는 사역을 내세웠다. 한국 선교의 미래는 하나님 나라를 확장하려는 증인된 삶을 사는 자를통하여 성취된다. 그래서 기독교 선교는 미래적이다. 기독교 선교는 예수 그리스도의 지상명령을 충실히 수행함으로 하나님의 나라를 건설하는데 있다. 한국선교는 선교사 자신의 사역을 위한 중간평가와 기독교 중심 진리를 선포할 때만이 희망이 넘치게 된다.
Abstract
Recently, the future of Korean mission is perceived differently based on which point of view you look at. It is because of the diverse opinions from different missional theologians. However, study on the worldly missional trends must be made as well as the Korean missional development before researchers can study the future of Korean mission. Firstly, 130 years of Korean missional history and the history of sending missionaries must be thoroughly examined. It is because missional history is the mirror of today’s ministries. The change in human culture and the styles of different leadership that caused hardship to the church can be precisely pinpointed by looking at the missional history. The focus on outward appearance, the numerical growth, the mission that is not focused of Jesus Christ, the poor understanding of mission is required to be studied. After having tackled these four issues can the problem of the future of mission can be effectively discussed. In order for this to happen, the boundaries and differences of the future of Korean mission must be crossed. Mission that crosses the boundaries and differences places their hope on dialogue, listening to the natives, the formation of feeling for the mission place, the local ministries supplied by the energy of love based on listening and feeling. The reality that is revolutionizing to deterritorialization mission andtrans- national mission must be understood. The future of mission ministry, where Jesus Christ is the center of faith and the foundation is centered on the Christian truth, can became brighter once the system for development of human resource understands that it is the future of the mission and mobilization for short-term missionaries and long-term missionaries can actively work together. As a result, Christian mission rests its hope on the future. If today is hard, then the future rests its hope in ministry. For this, the understanding of mission by the ministers and the responsibility and consciousness of thanksgiving must be preceeded.
