Abstract

This study analyzes the practical level of discussion and aesthetic meaning related to data curation and design, archiving, and interaction in virtual space through <70mK>, a virtual reality video exhibition content produced based on VR. The structure and creation of media art exhibition contents in a virtual space are described around the theory of individuation of Gilbert Simondon. As an important concept to analyze the characteristics of a virtual space and the creative creation occurring in it, it is considered as the ‘preindividual’, ‘potentiel energy’, and ‘transduction’ of Simondong. Through this, the possibility of technical individualization and autonomy of VR realistic content is explored.
