Abstract

In he rapid evolution of the digital information environment has created a new landscape of national security threats. The organized dissemination of disinformation manipulates public opinion, amplifies social conflict, and serves as an asymmetric information warfare tool that can profoundly affect political, military, and diplomatic domains. This study proposes ‘FakeLenseV2’, an intelligent disinformation detection system that integrates Natural Language Processing (NLP) with Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) as a science and technology-based investigative methodology to counter emerging digital security threats. FakeLenseV2 employs a Large Language Model (LLM) to precisely analyze the semantic context of news content and utilizes a reinforcement learning agent to dynamically optimize detection policies in real time. Moreover, by incorporating meta-data such as source tracing, social response analysis, and dissemination pathways, the system effectively identifies the generation, propagation, and manipulation patterns of security-threatening disinformation. An adaptive reward mechanism reflecting the risk cost of detection failures further enhances the model’s sensitivity to high-risk threats. Experimental results demonstrate that FakeLenseV2 achieves superior precision and generalization compared to baseline models, recording an accuracy of 98.3% and an F1-score of 0.98. This framework can be further extended as a practical countermeasure against digital information warfare, including online propaganda, manipulation, and opinion engineering in real-world security contexts.
