勿川 金鎭祜의 禮學思想

Abstract

Kim-jinho[金鎭祜] was one of the famous confucian scholars toward the end of the 19th century in south Gyungsang province of Korea. His scolorship was wellknown as a faithful disiple of Lee-Jinsang[李震相] on populalized moral philosophy and a devoted follower of Hur-Jun[許傳] in study on the traditional rites and ceremonis[禮學]. In this paper, I summarized his scholarship on the point of the study on the rules of propriety. The great part of his doctrines on the rules of propriety had been handed down from Hur-jun who was one of the most famous confucian scholar in the 19th century Chosen Dynasty. Kim-jinho rivise and edit second edition of Sa-ui[士儀] that was Hur-jun's the famous writing on the traditional rites and ceremonis. Kim-jinho's the most spirited doctrine color on the confucian ceremony has come out well as two discourse on the traditional mourning dress[喪服]. He base his discourse on practising the rules of propriety, and the thought to subdue one's self and return to propriety[克己復禮].
