이 연구의 목적은 CEO 성별에 따른 중소기업의 재무스코어와 효율성을 측정·비교하는 것이다. 재무스코어와 효율성지수 측정 결과는 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역별로 서울지역 여성기업의 재무스코어와 평균 효율성지수가 가장 낮게 확인됐고, 여성기업과 남성기업 간 재무스코어와 평균 효율성지수 격차도 가장 큰 것으로 조사됐다. 둘째, 연도별로 여성기업의 재무스코어는 비슷한 수준을 유지하고 있었지만 효율성은 지속적으로 하락하는 모습을 보였다. 셋째, 업종별로 여성기업과 남성기업의 재무스코어와 효율성지수는 서로 다르게 나타났다. 여성기업이 남성기업보다 높은 재무스코어와 효율성지수를 기록한 업종은 제조업, 도소매업, 숙박·음식업, 교육서비스업 등이었다. 여성기업이 남성기업보다 낮은 재무스코어와 효율성지수를 보이는 업종은 정보통신업 등으로 확인됐다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to measure and compare financial evaluation index and the efficiency according to the gender of SME representatives. The results of the financial evaluation index and the efficiency are summarized as follows. First, the financial score and average efficiency index of women’s owned businesses in Seoul were the lowest among the regions, and the financial score and average efficiency index gap according to gender firms were the largest. Second, women’s owned businesses' financial scores are maintained at similar levels, but the efficiency index is steadily declining. Third, the financial score and efficiency index of women’s and men’s owned businesses were different by sector. Businesses that showed higher financial score and efficiency index than female firms were found to be manufacturing, wholesale and retail, lodging and catering, and education service. The information industry shows that the female industry shows lower score and efficiency index than male firms.
