IT 리소스의 효율성 향상을 위해 상용분야와 정부기관의 Cloud computing 아키텍처 전환이 확대되는 가운데 국방분야에서도 다양한 수준과 관점에서 활용방안이 연구되고 있다. 국방 IT 환경에서는 제한된 네트워크 구조에서 정보체계의 사용목적과 범위가 분리된 멀티 도메인 구조의 정보체계를 운용하고 있으므로 이를 고려한 Cloud computing 기법적용이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 최근 모바일 분야를 중심으로 활발히 연구되고 있는 Edge computing을 고찰하여 국방 Cloud computing 전환 시 국방 IT 환경의 제약을 보완하는 방안을 제안하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 국방 Cloud computing 아키텍처 구축에 활용 가능할 것이다.
Abstract
In order to improve the efficiency of IT resources, commercial fields and government agencies are expanding their cloud computing architecture, while defense is also being studied at various levels and perspectives. In the defense IT environment, a multi-domain type of information system in which the purpose and scope of the information system are separated is operated in a limited network structure, so it is necessary to apply cloud computing in consideration of this. In this study, we have investigated the characteristics of edge computing, which has been particularly actively studied in the mobile field, and proposed a method to supplement the constraints of the defense IT environment when switching from the defense field to cloud computing. The results of this study can be used as a reference for the implementation of the defense cloud computing architecture.
