Abstract
To improve the efficiency of IT resources, the transition from private and public domains to cloud environments is expanding. Since the cloud is accessed and serviced in various forms according to the service target and infrastructure, in the case of defense informatization that operates the resource management system, battlefield management system, and defense M&S system in combination, the application plan should be defined and developed according to the defense environment and characteristics. This study considered characteristics for the application of defense information systems to cloud computing through literature research and phenomenon analysis on prior research data, and exploratively derived the factors for promotion. The results of the study will be used to establish detailed implementation plans in promoting the application of cloud to the defense sector.
