초록

This study developed an AI-integrated Design Thinking Platform for Children to enhance creativity, following the five stages of the design thinking process. The platform was tested with 56 children at J Kindergarten in Incheon and revised based on expert feedback. The results are as follows. First, a climate and environmental theme was selected, and a teaching–learning plan and storyboard covering all stages of design thinking were developed. Second, the platform was built and applied with AI technologies such as speech recognition, voice data analysis, signal processing, and speech analytics. Third, usability evaluation and field testing of the platform were conducted. Fourth, teachers unfamiliar with AI improved their understanding and were able to better support creativity education through the platform. Finally, children’s understanding of climate and environmental issues was digitized and stored as data. The significance of this study lies in reducing teachers’ burden in conducting creativity-focused lessons, advancing their AI literacy, and providing children with meaningful opportunities to develop creativity and problem-solving skills through design thinking experiences.
