본 연구는 한국인 학부모와 자녀를 대상으로 진행한 다문화교육 프로그램 실천 사례에 관한 것이다. 「자녀와함께하는 AI 다문화 동화 만들기」라는 제목의 교육 프로그램이 기획 및 실시되었고, 8명의 학부모와 11명의 초등학생및 중학생 자녀(학생)가 참여하였다. ‘다문화에 대한 이해 및 동화 주제 탐색’, ‘생성형 인공지능을 활용한 동화 제작법’, ‘동화 제작’, ‘결과물 발표 및 공유’의 네 단계(4차시, 1차시 50분)로 구성된 프로그램 수강을 통해, 교육 참가자들은생성형 인공지능을 활용하여 다문화 주제의 동화책을 성공적으로 창작하였다. 교육 전후에 시행한 설문조사를 분석한결과, 교육 참가자들의 AI 인식 및 다문화 효능감이 높아진 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 설문조사 분석에서 교육 참가자들의교육 만족도가 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 설문조사의 결과는 본 연구에서 기획한 학부모 다문화교육프로그램이 효과적으로 실행되었음을 보여준다.
Abstract
This study reports on the implementation of a multicultural education program for Korean parents and their children. The program, titled "Creating AI Multicultural Fairy Tales with Children," was designed and conducted with the participation of eight parents and eleven elementary and middle school students. The program consisted of four stages: (1) Understanding multiculturalism and exploring fairy tale themes; (2) Learning how to create fairy tales using generative AI; (3) Fairy tale creation; and (4) Presentation and sharing of results (four sessions, 50 minutes per session). Through this course, the participants successfully created multicultural-themed fairy tale books using generative AI. Analysis of the pre- and post-program surveys indicated an increase in participants' awareness of AI and their sense of multicultural efficacy. Additionally, the survey results revealed an elevated level of satisfaction with the program. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the parent-focused multicultural education program developed in this study.
