聯作 혹은 連作과 드라마틱 유니버스의 가능성- 박경수 미니시리즈 <귓속말>을 중심으로 -

Abstract

A drama writer Park Gyeong-soo's A Whisper describes a fight with legal abusers who pursue their own interest using laws. ‘A Whisper’, a title of the drama, is ambiguous. It arouses confidential whispering and open eavesdropping between leaders and reactionaries and between the drama and viewers inside and outside the screen. Challenge and response between ‘power with no justice’ and ‘justice with no power’ uttered in the drama is a topic that has constantly been expressed by Park Gyeong-soo. Naturally, A Whisper is a tetralogy overlapping and combining with the past trilogy about power. In other words, A Whisper is a series collaborating with the original work and a continuous creation that is connected to the original work intact. The detective of A Tracker loses his parents in the Empire of Gold and resists legal power in A Punch. A Whisper has this storytelling. In this context, A Whisper completing a tetralogy is a record of beta-test texts to reserve discovery/creation of dramatic universe, as an anthology and a crossover of the previous trilogy.
