본 연구는 대학생의 진로소명과 진로준비행동의 관계를 살펴보고 이러한 관계에서 의미만들기와 진로적응성의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내 4년제 대학생 300명을 대상으로 진로소명 척도, 의미만들기 척도, 진로적응성 척도, 진로준비행동 척도로 구성된 자기보고식 설문을 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 28.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계 및 정규성 분석, 신뢰도 검증, 상관관계 분석을 하였고 PROCESS Macro를 사용하여 매개효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로소명, 의미만들기, 진로적응성, 진로준비행동 사이에 정적으로 유의한 상관관계를 확인하였다. 둘째, 진로소명은 진로준비행동에 직접 정적인 영향을 주었으며, 이들의 관계에서 의미만들기와 진로적응성이 순차적으로 매개하였다. 진로적응성은 진로소명이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향에서 부분매개효과가 있었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계점을 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between career calling and career preparation behavior among university students and to verify the sequential mediating effects of meaning-making and career adaptability in that relationship. Self-reported surveys were conducted with 300 undergraduate students from four-year universities in South Korea. The survey included the Career Calling Scale, the Meaning-Making Scale, the Career Adaptability Scale, and the Career Preparation Behavior Scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS 28.0, employing frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, normality testing, reliability verification, and correlation analysis. Sequential mediation effects were analyzed using PROCESS Macro. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, significant positive correlations were found among career calling, meaning-making, career adaptability, and career preparation behavior. Second, career calling had a direct positive impact on career preparation behavior, and meaning-making and career adaptability sequentially mediated this relationship. Career adaptability partially mediated the influence of career calling on career preparation behavior. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
