Abstract
A new yellow gerbera (Gerbera hybrida"Salina" followed by seedling and line selections at the Flower Breeding Research Institute, Gyeongnam Agricultural Research andExtention Services (ARES) in 19. Characteristics trials were conducted for three times from 201 to 202. Newly bredin ray floret colour and flower center colour with stable flower shape. The vase life was 10.2 days. The average yield of Chowoowas 48.3 flowers per plant a year in greenhouse yield trails caried out from 2001 to 2002. This cultivar was registered for a com-mercialization in 203. Chowo would be cultured under greenhouse condition in Korea.
