현대 사회에서 정신적 가치와 방향의 원천은 종교, 특히 기독교회이다. 기독교회는 인간의 심리를 다스리는 것보다 한 영혼의 치유와 쉼, 구원의 문제를 다룬다. 기독교회의 경전은 성경이다. 성경은인간의 창조와 타락, 구속, 십자가 승리와 부활, 승천과 재림을 언급하고 있다. 성경은 인간 영혼의 치유와 쉼, 하나님을 향한 섬김과 방향, 하나님을 향한 소망, 인간사에 일어나는 크고 작은 일들의 해결책을 제시한다. 다시 말해, ‘성경이 답이다.’ 현대 사회의 목회자에게 가장 소중한 무기는 ‘성경’이다. 강력한무기의 활용은 성경묵상과 기도를 통한 거룩함의 표현이다. 말씀과기도로 거룩함, 즉 경건을 소유한 목회자는 말씀의 능력을 발휘한다. 목회자의 경건과 설교가 선교에 미치는 영향은 매우 크다. 목회자는 경건의 정의와 의미, 실제, 그리고 경건이 곧 믿음이라는 공식을 정확히 인지해야 한다. 경건과 설교의 상관관계는 무관한것이 아니라 깊이 얽혀있다. 목회자의 경건과 설교, 경건한 언어는성도들의 삶에 큰 영향을 준다. 목회자는 언제나 성경 중심의 경건을무기로 삼아 메시지를 선포해야 한다. 경건하기 위해서는 성령 충만하지 않을 경우에 나타나는 현상을 인식하고 성령의 역사(役事)를 이루기 위한 노력에 힘써야 한다. 이를 위한 성경묵상과 연구, 기도 생활의 강화, 성경 속 경건한 인물들의 메시지 전달 모델을 찾아 적용하는 훈련을 가질 때 선교의 원동력이 된다. 목회자의 헌신과 노력, 경건한 삶에 대한 집중은 선교의 진전이더디게 보일지라도 영적 기백이 앞서게 됨을 알아야 한다. 목회자, 설교자, 선교사는 성결하고 정직하며 매 순간 하나님께 번제와 화목제를 드리는 거룩한 삶으로 변화를 일으킬 수 있다. 그들의 경건과설교는 선교의 원동력이 되어 현대 사회의 변화를 이끌어야 한다.
Abstract
In modern society, religion, especially the Christian Church, provides spiritual values and direction. The Christian Church does not focus on controlling human psychology, but deals with the healing, rest, and salvation of the soul. The Christian church’s scripture is the Bible. The Bible tells the story of creation, the fall, redemption, victory on the cross, resurrection, ascension, and the second coming. The Bible provides healing and rest for the human soul, service and direction toward God, hope for God, and solutions to the great and small problems of human affairs. In other words, the Bible is the answer. The Bible is the most valuable weapon for a pastor in the modern world. Utilizing this powerful weapon is the expression of holiness through Bible meditation and prayer. A pastor who is sanctified by the Word and prayer unleashes the power of God’s Word. The impact of a pastor’s godliness and preaching on missions is profound. The pastor should recognize the definition, meaning, and practice of godliness and the formula that godliness is faith. The relationship between godliness and preaching is not unrelated, but deeply intertwined. A pastor’s godliness, preaching, and godly language have a profound impact on the lives of his congregation. A pastor should always proclaim the message with Bible-centred godliness as his weapon. To be godly, a pastor must recognise the effects of not being filled with the Holy Spirit and strive to be filled with the Holy Spirit. This is fuelled by Bible study and research, strengthened prayer life, and training in identifying and adapting the message delivery models of godly figures in the Bible. Pastors should know that their commitment, hard work, and focus on godly living will lead to spiritual momentum, even if missionary progress seems slow. Pastors, preachers, and missionaries can make a difference by living holy lives of integrity and honesty, offering burnt offerings and peace of ferings to God every moment. Their piety and preaching should be an impetus for missions and the transformation of contemporary society.
