초록

Purpose: To operationalize a field-deployable Mobile Treatment Module (MTM) using modular architecture by: (i) defining a field-appropriate service level (resuscitation, stabilization, damage-control); (ii) deriving an interlocking medical-program bundle; and (iii) fixing a single-trailer volumetric envelope for rapid deployment. Methods: We cross-walked domestic regulations with international facility/clinical standards, analyzed plans from 33 regional EDs to map programmatic adjacencies around treatment rooms, ran expert surveys/consultations in EM and surgery to bound feasible field functions, and completed a literature review to compile the MTM emergency medical-program set. Results: The MTM comprises entry/triage, treatment bays, a co-located nursing node, clean/dirty utility & waste (WASH/IPC), equipment alcoves & pharmacy/supply, point-of-care diagnostics (POCUS, mobile X-Ray), and a self-sufficiency utility plant. Synthesis of ED analytics and guidance led to a two-zone typology—Treatment Zone and Support Zone—with their subordinate programs enumerated for a single-haul envelope. Implications: The scheme enables on-scene triage–treatment–observation in a compact, treatment-centric medical-unit, reducing avoidable transfers and supporting early stabilization. It provides a siting and layout baseline that aligns logistics, utilities, and infection control with modular architecture, informing next-phase dimensioning and architectural planning for early-response facilities.
