Abstract
After the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476, their Greco-roman culture and christianism has been shifted to the Byzantin Empire. Western Europe was dominated entirely by the German tribal hordes, destroyers of that civilization, for 900 years, lack of any christian culture, carrying of abundant German elements in stead. Meanwhile the Greco-roman culture and christianism of the Byzantin Empire have been kept in the KievRus’ and the Grand Duchy of Moscow. This study revealed the germanization of the Roman Catholic since the 6th century to the 11th when the Crusades have began with the German peoples and their elements. It could enlighten some status of the Roman Catholic as German church. It could also enlighten the status of Russia and the Russian Orthodox church as successor to the Greco-roman culture and christianism with the Byzantin Empire.
