청소년의 비합리적 신념과 자살사고의 관계에서 분노표현방식과 인지적 정서조절의 매개된 조절효과

초록

본 연구는 청소년의 비합리적 신념과 분노표현방식, 인지적 정서조절과 자살사고의 관계를 통해 청소년들의 자살사고를 긍정적으로 바꿀 수 있도록 돕기 위한 상담적 개입방안을 마련하고자 진행되었다. 구체적으로 청소년의 분노표현방식과 인지적 정서조절이 비합리적 신념이 자살사고에 미치는 영향을 증가 혹은 감소시킬 수 있는지를 경험적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기지역 2개의 중학교 255명으로부터 수집된 자료를 연구에 활용하였으며, 기술통계와 상관관계분석 및 회귀분석 접근법으로 연구모형을 분석하여 연구문제를 검증하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 비합리적 신념과 자살사고의 관계를 적응적 인지적 정서조절이 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 적응적 인지적 정서조절이 있으면 자살사고가 적어진다는 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 비합리적 신념이 자살사고에 미치는 영향에서 분노억제의 매개효과가 유의하였으며, 완전 매개효과를 나타냈다. 셋째, 비합리적 신념이 자살사고에 미치는 영향에서 분노억제를 통한 적응적 인지적 정서조절의 매개된 조절효과가 유의미하였다. 이는 적응적 인지적 정서조절이 높을수록 분노억제가 자살사고로 가는 직접 효과가 더 적어짐을 의미한다. 본 연구는 자살사고를 조절하는 능력을 길러주는데 필요한 분노표현방식과 인지적 정서조절의 구체적 기능을 확인해 줌으로써 상담자들의 상담개입 방향을 정립해 나갈 방안을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a counseling intervention plan to help youth change the suicide ideation positively through the relationship between irrational beliefs, anger expression system, cognitive emotions regulation and self - suicidal ideation, and to verify empirically how adolescent anger expression system and cognitive emotion regulation can increase or decrease the effect of irrational beliefs on suicide ideation. For this purpose, the data collected from 255 students of 2 middle schools in Gyeong-gi area were used, and the research model was analyzed by the descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis approach to verify the research questions. First, the relationship between irrational belief and suicidal ideation was controlled by adaptive cognitive emotional regulation. Second, the mediating effect of anger suppression was significant in the effect of irrational beliefs on suicide ideation, and showed a full mediating effect. Therefore, suicidal ideation is less if there is adaptive cognitive emotional regulation. Third, the mediating effect of adaptive cognitive emotional regulation through anger suppression was significant in the effect of irrational beliefs on suicidal ideation. This means that the higher the adaptive cognitive emotional regulation, the less direct effects of anger suppression on suicide ideation. This study suggested the ways to establish counselors' intervention directions by identifying the anger expression method and cognitive emotional control function needed to develop the ability to control suicidal ideation.
