Abstract

It is essential to study on carrion-associated insects in forensic entomology. Until now, through various experimental studies, the correlation between the various ecological environment and the insect species inhabited around the dead individuals have been studied. In order to interpret these experimental results more effectively, however, additional systematic statistical analysis and interpretation is required. Based on 23 papers published from 1999 to 2017, this study have investigated the methods and results about the inhabited insects, especially the fly Species, through various ecological conditions in the forensic entomology. In addition, we have studied the statistical methodological parts that have been or may be applied to the existing research.
