Abstract

Daramjon of Chiam̛s collection in the Library of Kyungbook National Universityis is one of the many versions of Sudaejoojon. It seems that it is most excellent in the quality and quantity in the many versions of Sudaejoojon. Daramjon of Chiam̛s collection has character as fallows : The plot is very tight and logical, and the expression is very concrete and abundant. Daramjon of Chiam̛s collection has various elements of Pansori, e.g. enumeration in rhetoric, the continual change of prose and verse, the extension of scene, intrude songs, the various style of Pansori. Also it has subject and social consciousness has been discovered in Pansori, e.g. the problem of wealth and poverty, the sharp perception about actuality in that times, and abundant social consciousness, the coexistence of comic and tragic. The Position of Daramjon of Chiam̛s collection in the many versions of Sudaejoojon is as fallows : The many versions of Sudaejoojon is divided into two groups, the one is the group of versions have theft-type and the other is the group of versions have false -accusation-type. Daramjon of Chiam̛s collection belongs to former group. It came into being in lastly and not only best in the former group but also all groups.
