취암본 <뇌성전>의 구조와 그 의미

Abstract

'Nwoesungjeon' that is kept in the Chwiam's Collection in the Library of Kyungbook National University is a classical heroic novel. It was not until 2003 that this novel is open to the academic circles. Until now it has not been found that there is a novel that has content or a title similar to Nwoesungjeon. Therefore 'Nwoesungjeon' has a high possibility of a new material. In spite of that, a full-scale study on this novel has not been done yet. It is assumed that there would be more works that haven't come to light because they are confined in the libraries of universities at home and abroad It is necessary to draw them into the history of the Korean classical novels by studying them. The most urgent job in studying 'Nwoesungjeon' was conducted in this study. The results are as follows. First,'Nwoesungjeon' tried to represent in a novel the things that happened paratactically. In order to do that, the writer either described crossly the biography of them or described synthetically the way the hero and the heroine cooperate.
