음악과 ‘생활화’ 영역에 대한 경기도 초등학교 교사의 관심 단계, 실행 수준 분석
Analysis of Stage of Concern, Level of Use, about ‘Practical Application’ in Music Subject among Elementary School Teachers in Gyeonggi Province

본 연구의 목적은 음악과‘생활화’영역에 대한 초등학교 교사들의 관심 단계, 실행 수준을분석하여, 초등학교 교사들의 관심 단계, 실행 수준은 어떠하고, 그 상관관계는 어떠한지에대해 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해‘생활화’영역에 대한 교사의 관심 단계, 실행 수준 설문지를개발하여 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 설문 조사 연구 대상은 경기도교육청에 소속되어 공립초등학교에서 음악 교과를 지도하는 3-6학년 교사 320명이었고, 관심 단계, 실행 수준에 관한설문지를 배부 및 회수한 후 양적 분석하였다. 음악과 ‘생활화’ 영역에 대한 설문 조사 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악 교과의‘생활화’영역에 대한 교사들의 관심 단계는 매우 낮은단계에 있었다. 가장 높은 빈도를 나타낸 단계는 지각적 관심 단계(0단계)이고, 가장 낮은 단계는 협력적 관심 단계(5단계)였다. 초등학교 교사들의 개인 배경 변인에 따른 관심 단계는담당 학년, 교육 경력, 수업교사형태에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 둘째, 음악교과의 ‘생활화’ 영역에 대한 교사들의 실행 수준이 가장 높은 수준은 입문 수준(수준 Ⅰ)이었다. 반면 가장 낮은 수준은 갱신 수준(수준 Ⅵ)이었다. 초등학교 교사들의 개인 배경 변인에따른 실행 수준은 교사가 담당 학년, 교육 경력, 수업교사형태에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한결과를 보였다. 셋째, 초등학교 교사들의 관심 단계와 실행 수준의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 관심 단계가 높을수록 실행 수준이 높게 나타남을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze stage of concern, level of use about 'practical application' in music subject among elementary school teachers based on the concern based curriculum adoption model, and examine the relationship between state of concern, level of use, and how they are applied. To achieve the research purpose, the study reviewed literature on concern based curriculum adoption model and 'practical application' in elementary school music. To analyze stage of concern, level of use about 'practical application' in music subject, this study developed questionnaire, and conducted the survey. The survey respondents were 320 teachers teaching music to students from 3rd to 6th grades in public elementary schools under the Gyeonggi Office of Education. Questionnaire on stage of concern, level of use were distributed and collected. The findings of the surveys on 'practical application' in music subject were as follows. First, concerns in 'practical application' in music subject among teachers were very low. The highest concern stage was unconcerned (stage 0), and the lowest was collaboration (stage 5). The variables significantly affecting stage of concern among teachers were school year they teach, educational careers, and teacher type. Second, the highest level of use on 'practical application' in music subject is 'orientation level' (level 1), and, in contrast, the lowest level was ‘renewal level’ (level Ⅵ). The variables significantly affecting stage of concern among teachers were school year they teach, educational careers, and teacher type. Third, the analysis of the relationship between state of concern and level of use showed that the higher the state of concern the higher the level of use was.
