This study presents a unified account of epistemic bias in Korean Negative Interrogatives by redefining contextual evidence bias as addressee bias. The empirical findings show that bias polarity and orientation are jointly determined by two factors: the interpretational status of negation and the prosodic contour of rising intonation. Truth-functional negation with unmarked prosody yields a negative, addressee-anchored bias, whereas non-truth-functional negation with marked prosody produces a positive, speaker-anchored bias. The proposed analysis, developed within the Table Model (e.g. Farkas & Bruce 2010, Malamud & Stephenson 2015), offers a formal explanation of how semantic and prosodic cues interact to produce distinct bias interpretations in Korean Negative Interrogatives.
