성인 지체장애인의 생활만족도 요인과 모바일 사회참여의 매개효과: 청장년 및 고령간 다중집단비교

본 연구는 성인 지체장애인의 생활만족도가 디지털 역량, 디지털기기 이용태도, 디지털 조력에 따라 어떻게 영향을 미치며, 이 과정에서 모바일 사회참여가 매개효과를 가지는지를 점검하였다. 또한 고령 및 청장년 간의 다중집단 비교연구를 통해 해당 기제가 성인집단 내에서 어떤 차이를 보이는지 살펴보았다. 분석은 2020년 정보격차실태조사에 응답한 1399명의 성인지체장애인들을 대상으로 하였다. 연령별로 보면 고령 지체장애인은 청장년에 비해 디지털 역량, 디지털기기 이용태도, 디지털 조력, 모바일 사회참여, 생활만족도 수준이 유의하게 낮았다. 구조모형분석에 따르면, 디지털 역량, 디지털기기 이용태도, 디지털 조력이 생활만족도에 미치는 직접효과가 유의하였다. 모바일 사회참여가 생활만족도에 미치는 간접효과는 디지털기기 이용태도와 디지털 조력에게서 유의하게 나타났다. 다중집단비교모형분석에서는 모바일 사회참여가 생활만족도에 미치는 효과의 연령집단 간 차이가 드러났다. 고령 지체장애인의 경우 모바일 사회참여의 효과가 유의하였으나, 청장년 지체장애인의 경우 유의하지 않았다. 고령 지체장애인의 차별적 특성을 고려한 정보화 교육이 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 고령 지체장애인 모바일 사회참여 향상을 통한 생활만족도 증진 전략을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study examined how the life satisfaction of the adults with disability is affected by digital competency, digital device usage attitude, and digital assistance, and how mobile social participation has a mediating effect in this relationship. In addition, through a comparative study of the elderly and young adults, we examined the differences in the mechanism within the adult group. The analysis was conducted on 1399 adults with physical disabilities who responded to the 2020 Digital Gap Survey. The preliminary analysis shows that the elderly with disabilities had significantly lower levels of digital competency, digital device usage attitude, digital assistance, mobile social participation, and life satisfaction than their younger counterparts. According to the structural model analysis, life satisfaction was directly influenced by digital competency, digital device use attitude, and digital assistance. The mediating effect of mobile social participation on life satisfaction was significant for digital device use attitude and digital assistance. In the multi-group comparison model analysis, the difference between age groups in the effect of mobile social participation on life satisfaction was revealed. For the elderly with disabilities, the effect of mobile social participation was significant. However, it was not significant for the younger adults with disabilities. This emphasizes the need to reflect the differential characteristics of the elderly with disabilities in information education for the disabled. Therefore, this study presented a strategy to improve life satisfaction through improving mobile social participation for the elderly with disabilities.
