본 문헌분석은 1997년부터 2024년까지 지난 30여 년간의 특수학교와 일반학교 간 통합교류활동에 대한 국내 연구의 동향을 살펴보고 추후 연구과제 제안을 목적으로 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 국내 학술지에 게재된 17편의 연구를 선정하여 분석하였다. 분석 논문의 선정기준에 맞는 17편의 논문을 논문 게재 연도별로 살펴보았고, 조사연구는 연구참여자와 연구주제, 중재연구는 연구대상, 중재명, 중재기간, 중재시간, 장소, 종속변인 측정도구 및 연구결과를 포함한 일반적인 특성, 질적연구는 연구대상, 세부연구방법 및 연구주제를 포함한 일반적인 특성으로 나누어 분석하였다. 분석 결과 중재연구가 8편으로 가장 많이 발표되었고, 질적연구가 6편, 조사연구는 3편 보고되었다. 조사연구의 주제를 살펴보면 통합교류할동의 실태조사, 통합수련활동에 대한 교사의 인식조사, 통합교류활동에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 조사 연구가 이루어졌다. 중재연구의 중재를 살펴보면 풍물, 볼링, 무용, 사물놀이 등 학교 내에서 동아리 활동, 교외에서 함께 하는 활동(예: 영화 및 공연 관람, 미술관, 박물관 방문, 1박2일 캠프 등)을 통한 통합교류활동이 주를 이루었다. 질적연구의 주제를 살펴보면 통합교류활동에 대한 경험과 인식, 지원요구가 탐색되었으며 대면 통합교류활동을 넘어 온택트(ontact) 통합교류활동 가능성에 대한 인식 연구까지 다양한 주제의 연구가 이루어졌다. 본 연구의 분석 결과를 토대로 추후 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the trends of research on interschool exchange program between special education schools and general education schools between 1997 and 2024. Total 17 studies were identified and reviewed based on the analysis criteria which were publication year and methodologies(survey, intervention, qualitative studies). Three survey studies were analyzed based on participants and topic of survey. Eight intervention studies were reviewed by participants, intervention topic, intervention period, intervention time, location, dependent variables, and intervention outcomes. Six qualitative studies were analyzed by participants, methods, and topics of studies. Results showed that the topics of survey studies included current status of interschool exchange program in primary school level, special education school teachers’ perception on interschool camps for students with and without disabilities, and teachers’ perception on affecting factors for interschool exchange program. Interventions were implemented mostly during extracurricular programs, and two studies were conducted outside of schools(e.g., watching movies and plays, visiting museum and gallery, camps). Using qualitative studies, teachers’ experience and support needs were explored. Based on the results, future research directions were discussed.
