본 연구의 목적은 사회과 예비 교원의 디지털 역량 강화를 위한 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과성을 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 선행문헌, 요구분석을 통해 6개의 모듈로 구성된 초기 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이후 전문가 타당화를 통해 프로그래밍 언어인 R과 디지털 저작도구인 Quarto를 바탕으로 인터랙티브 교수․학습 대시보드 개발을 주요 내용으로 하는 최종 교육프로그램을 개발하였다. 교육프로그램의 효과성 평가를 위해 국내 S 대학교의 예비 교원 17명을 대상으로 프로그램을 실행한 결과, 수강생의 AI에 대한 태도, AI․디지털 효능감, 데이터 리터러시, AI․디지털 교수학습 역량이 유의하게 향상되었다. 본 연구는 사회과 예비교원의 디지털 역량 강화 교육에서 데이터 리터러시 및 프로그래밍 기반 교육의 중요성과 가능성을 제시하며, 특정 교과 중심의 디지털 역량 강화 프로그램의 체계적 교수설계에 대한 시사점을 제시한다.
Abstract
This study aimed to develop a program to enhance digital competencies among preservice social study teachers and to evaluate its effectiveness. An initial educational program comprising of six modules was formulated based on a literature review and needs analysis. Following expert validation, a final version of the program was developed, focusing on the development of interactive teaching and learning dashboards using the R programming language and the digital authoring tool Quarto. To assess the effectiveness of the program, it was implemented with 17 preservice teachers at S University in Korea. The results demonstrated significant improvements in participants' attitudes toward AI, AI and digital self-efficacy, data literacy, and AI-based teaching and learning competencies. This study provides insights into the development of subject-specific educational programs aimed at enhancing digital competencies in pre-service teachers, emphasizing the significance and potential of data literacy and programming-based education in AI-integrated social studies instruction.
