‘지식변화모델’ 에서 프레게와 괴델

이 논문의 목적은 논리학의 발전에 결정적 역할을 한 프레게와 괴델의 업적을 지식변화모델’ 에서평가하려는 것이다. 즉 그들이 이 모델에서 각각 어떤 위치에 있는지를 살펴보려는 것이다. 이를위해 지식변화유형을 제시하고 이를 위한 평가요소를 제시한다. 지식변화유형은 변화의 정도에따라 개혁, 약 명예혁명, 명예혁명, 강 명예혁명, 전 혁명 등 구분하고, 평가요소로는 변화의 내용,영향, 파급력 등을 제시한다. 그리고 변화의 유형과 평가요소를 조합하여 지식변화모델을 만든다. 지식변화모델에서 프레게는 전 혁명에 속하고 괴델은 약 명예혁명에 속함을 주장한다. 프레게에 의해촉발된 논리학에서의 혁명은 괴델에 의해 완성되었다고 본다면 이는 자연스러운 결론이라 생각한다.
Abstract
This paper aims to evaluate works of Frege and Gödel, who play the trigger role indevelopment of logic, by Knowledge Change Model. It identifies where their positionsare in the model respectively. For this purpose I suggest types of knowledgechange and their criteria for the evaluation. Knowledge change are classified intofive types according to the degree of its change: improvement, weak glorious revolution,glorious revolution, strong glorious revolution, and total revolution. Criteriato evaluate the change are its contents, influence, pervasive effects, and soforth. The Knowledge Change Model consists of the types and the criteria. I arguethat in the model Frege belongs to the total revolution and Gödel to the weakglorious revolution. If we accept that the revolution in logic initiated by Frege wascompleted by Gödel, it is a natural conclusion.
