스토리텔링을 활용한 예술치료콘텐츠개발 연구: 갱년기 중년여성의 경험담을 스토리로 재구성하는 내러티브 탐구

이 연구의 목적은 갱년기 전·후 우울과 낮은 자존감으로 인해 자아상실을 경험하는 중년여성들에게 스토리텔링을 활용한 예술치료콘텐츠를 개발하는 것이다. 따라서 연구자는 콘텐츠개발에 앞서 연구주제에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해 45세 이상 65세 이하로 구성된 중년여성 5명을 선정하여 중년의 자아, 심리, 신체, 관계를 주제로 총 12회기 동안 대담형식의 파일럿프로그램을 진 행하였다. 이후 중년여성들의 살아있는 경험을 수집하기 위해 52명과 인터뷰 를 실시하였다. 따라서 파일럿프로그램의 촬영 및 녹취 자료와 연구참여자 관찰기록 그리고 대면 인터뷰 자료 등에서 수집된 중년여성들의 다양한 경험 담이 하나의 스토리로 구성되는 과정을 살펴보기 위해 연구자는 질적 연구방법론 중 하나인 내러티브 방법론을 사용하였다. 콘텐츠기획, 설계, 개발, 재현 으로 이루어진 4단계 콘텐츠개발모형을 제시하였고 이를 적용하여 단계별로 콘텐츠개발 과정을 살펴보았으며 대본형식으로 콘텐츠를 완성하여 공연으로 재현하였다. 그 결과 연구참여자들은 자신과 유사한 경험을 하고 있는 주인 공과 등장인물에게 감정이입하여 부정적인 감정과 적체된 분노 등을 배설하는 데 도움이 될 수 있으며 또한 주인공이 갈등과 문제를 극복하는 모습에서 관객들 역시 인지적 각성이 일어나 현실에서 마주하게 되는 문제들을 해결해가는 데 영향을 줄 수 있는 콘텐츠라는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to apply the storytelling to develop contents that can be used for middle-aged women who experiences loss of identity due to depression and low self-esteem before and after menopause. The researcher chose 5 middle-aged women at the age from 45 to 65 to perform pilot program with an interview type on the topic of ego, psychology, body and relationship of middle age during a total of 12 sessions to better understand the study subject before developing contents. Then, interviews were conducted with 52 people to collect living experiences of middle-aged women. Therefore, this study applied the narrative methodology, which is one of the qualitative methodologies, to examine the process of building various experiences of middle-aged women into a story based on the recordings and transcripts of the pilot program conducted during 12 sessions, study participant’s record of observation and the face-to-face interview data with 52 ordinary middle-aged women. The researcher presented to 4-stage contents development model composed of contents planning, design, development and replay for the contents development. Next, the development model was applied to examine the 114 contents development process stage by stage, and as a result, a ‘script’ of the reading performance defined as contents in this study was completed to replay as a performance. As a result, a conclusion could be drawn that it is a content that could help empathize with the heroine and characters, who has an experience similar to themselves, to release negative feelings and accumulated anger. Furthermore it influences that seekers also awaken cognitively to solve problems encountered in real life as watching the heroine overcomes conflicts and problems.
