새부모의 양육태도유형과 재혼가족 청소년자녀의 심리사회적 적응에 관한 연구：사회적 지지의 조절효과를 중심으로

초록

본 연구는 재혼가족 청소년 자녀 137명을 대상으로 새부모의 온정적 양육태도, 통제적 양육태도 및 청소년 자녀의 심리사회적 적응 간 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 검증해보고자 하였다. 표의 표집(purposeful sampling)을 활용하여 조사대상자를 선정하였으며 인문계 고등학교가 아닌 종합고등학교 40개 학교가 포함되었다. 회귀분석에서는 자녀 성별, 계부모 성별, 자녀연령, 형제유무, 가족유형, 동거기간 등을 통제변수로 투입함으로써 이들의 사회인구학적 특성에 따른 혼돈효과(confounding effect)를 줄이고자 하였다. 분석결과에 의하면 친구지지와 학교지지는 새부모의 온정적 양육태도와 새자녀의 심리사회적 적응관계에서 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 학교사회사업을 비롯하여 사회사업 실천현장에서 청소년 자녀의 심리사회적 적응을 촉진하기 위한 개입전략으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the moderating effect between the stepparenting styles(warm and control) and social support(family support, friend support, school support) on the psycho-social adjustment of adolescents stepchildren by surveying 137 adolescent stepchildren at home. The subjects including students at 40 comprehensive high schools were selected by purposeful sampling. In regression analysis socio-demographic factors such as sex of stepchildren and stepparents, age of stepchildren, type of stepfamily, existence of brothers of sisters, and length of remarriage were input as controlling variables to reduce the confounding effect. Based on the results of this study, family support and school support were proofed to have the moderating effect between the stepparenting styles and adolescents psycho-social adjustment. Social work intervention strategies and programs in school and social work practice were introduced to promote the psycho-social adjustment of adolescent stepchildren.
