한국 취업문화의 사적 전개과정과 시대별 특성비교 분석에관한 탐색적 연구-1980년대 이후 대기업 중심으로-

본 연구는 1980년대 이후 급격한 변화과정을 거쳐온 한국 취업문화의 역사를 종합적ㆍ체계적으로 고찰하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 한국의 취업문화는 시대별 산업환경의 변화에 따라 전개과정과 특징을 명확히 달리해왔다. 취업문화의 생성기로 볼 수 있는 1980년대는 취업문화의 구성요소들이 출현하는 양태를 보이고 있다. 1990년대는 급변하는 국내외 산업환경으로 인해 취업문화가 전환기를 맞는 시대이다. 2천년대는 선진국 진입으로 그동안 취업문화를 주도해왔던 공채문화가 약화되는 대신, 진로문화와 직업문화가 부상하고 있다. 1980년대 이후 한국의 취업문화는 다음과 같은 특징과 시사점을 지닌다. 첫째, 시대별로 취업문화의 특징이 명확하며 산업환경변화를 일으킨 큰 요인들이 문화형성에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 1980년대 이래 경쟁적인 취업환경으로 인해 경쟁적인 취업문화가 조성됐다. 셋째, 2천년 이후 진로문화와 직업문화가 취업문화를 주도하고 있다. 넷째, 한국의 취업문화는 공채문화ㆍ진로문화ㆍ직업문화가 서로 깊은 상관관계를 맺고 있는 유기적인 체계이다. 본 연구는 지난 1980년대 이래 한국의 취업역사를 취업문화적인 관점에서 시대별ㆍ구성요소별ㆍ특성별로 체계화 시키는 동시에 비교분석하는데 취지를 두고 있다. 또한 향후 보다 발전된 취업문화를 유인하고 정착시키는데 필요한 취업문화의 구성요소별 사적자료 및 정보를 구축한다는 의미도 함께 내포하고 있다
Abstract
This Study is based on examining history of Korean employment culture in a total and systemic way. In the 80s, which can be seen as the development times of the employment culture, elements of the culture starts to show. The employment culture goes into a transition period caused by sudden changes of the industry environment in the 90s. From the year 2000, the recruiting culture, which had dominated the employment culture, has been in decline following the development of the nation to a advanced stage. The Korean employment culture since the 1980s is showing a few characteristics: First, after the year 2000 career culture and occupation culture is leading the employment culture. In addition, the major, trendy and unique features of the employment culture which has caused the changes in industry environment directly affected in forming of the employment culture. Also, the competitive employment environment caused the development of the competitive employment culture. Lastly, Korean employment culture is a system balanced by its recruiting culture, career culture, and occupation culture. This research is focused on analysing and comparing as well as systematizing Korean employment history in a employment culture perspective. Moreover, it has means for building historical data and information to lure and settle more advanced employment culture in the future.
