설교는 다른 일반적인 연설들과 비교하여 기본적으로 설교자의 인격이 중요한 역할을 차지하는 연설이다. 따라서 설교자들의 개별적인 인격구조를 이해하고 그에 맞는 설교방법론을 적용한다면, 설교자 각자가 가지고 있는 고유의 설교학적 무기를 더욱 효과적으로 날카롭게 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 프리츠 리만(Fritz Riemann)의 심리학적 인격구조들에 관한 이해와 빌프리드 엥에만(Wilfried Engemann)의 설교학적 이론을 기반으로 하는 심층심리학적 구조에 따른 설교자의 네 가지 유형을 소개한다. 첫번째로 ‘거리를 만드는 설교자’는 유형은 심층심리학적으로 조현성(schizoide) 인격구조와 연관이 있으며, 객관적인 논리와 지식을 중요하게 여기는 경향이 있다. 송태근 목사는 이 유형의 좋은 모델이 될 수 있다. 두번째로 ‘포용하는 설교자’는 심층심리학적으로 우울성(depressive) 인격구조와 연관이 되어 있으며, 감성적인 사랑과 공동체성을 중요하게 여기는 경향이 있다. 유기성 목사는 이 유형의 좋은 모델이 될 수 있다. 세번째로 ‘권위적인 설교자’ 유형은 심층심리학적으로 강박성(zwanghafte) 인격구조와 연관이 있으며, 무질서를 해결하고 규칙을 부여하고자 한다. 옥한흠 목사는 이 유형의 좋은 모델이 될 수 있다. 마지막으로 ‘경계를 긋지 않는 설교자’는 자유와 다양성을 중요시하는 경향을 보인다. 김기석 목사는 이 유형의 좋은 모델이 될 수 있다. 특별히 심층심리학적 이론을 근거로 한 설교자의 유형들에 대한 소개는 독자인 설교자로 하여금 각자에게 선천적으로 주어진 설교학적 무기가 무엇인지를 효과적으로 이해하게 한다. 또한 각 유형에 해당하는 모델에 대한 분석은 설교자가 스스로가 어떠한 방향성을 가지고 자신의 설교를 훈련해야 하는지에 대한 지침을 제공한다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 설교자에게 선천적으로 주어진 인격구조에 해당하는 그리고 설교자 스스로에게 가장 적합한 설교방법론을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
Abstract
The psychological personality structure of each preacher has a significant influence on their sermon. Therefore, by understanding this personality structure and utilizing preaching methodologies that align with it, one can develop their own unique preaching skills. This study explores the research conducted by Fritz Riemann and Wilfried Engemann, and introduces four types based on the preacher's personality structure. First, the "distance-creating preacher" type is deeply psychologically related to the schizoid personality structure and tends to prioritize objective logic and knowledge. Pastor Taegeun Song can serve as an exemplary model for this type. Second, the "embracing preacher" type is deeply psychologically related to the depressive personality structure and places high value on emotional love and community. Pastor Ki-seong Yoo can be a fitting role model for this type. Thirdly, the "compulsive preacher" type is closely linked to the compulsive personality structure and seeks to bring order and establish rules. Pastor Han-heum Ok can be an excellent example of this type. Finally, the "unbounded preacher" type places a premium on freedom and diversity. Pastor Ki-seok Kim can be considered a suitable model for this type. In particular, the introduction to the types of preachers based on depth psychological theory enables the reader to effectively understand the inherent preaching abilities possessed by each person. Additionally, the analysis of the model corresponding to each type offers guidelines on how preachers should develop their own sermons. In conclusion, the aim of this study is to present the most appropriate preaching methodology tailored to the preacher's innate personality structure.
