이 연구는 세계 정상급 배드민턴 복식경기를 대상으로 선제공격 시도여부에 따른 경기내용을 분석하였다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 두 개의 연구문제를 선정하였다. 첫 번째 연구문제는 배드민턴 복식경기에서의 선제공격을 정의하기 위하여 ‘배드민턴 복식경기에서 선제공격을 어떻게 규정하는가?’로 선정하였다. 첫 번째 연구문제를해결하기 위해 배드민턴 전문가 10명을 대상으로 델파이 기법을 통해 배드민턴 복식경기에서 시도되는 선제공격을정의하였다. 두 번째 연구문제는 ‘배드민턴 복식경기의 선제공격 시도여부에 따라 경기 및 득점내용은 차이가 있는가?’이다. 두 번째 연구문제를 해결하기 위하여 2013년도부터 2016년도까지 세계배드민턴연맹에서 주최한 35개의경기를 무작위로 수집하였다. 수집된 영상자료를 배드민턴 경기분석프로그램 I-Minton을 활용하여 수량화 하였으며, 수량화된 자료를 기반으로 선제공격 시도여부에 따른 경기내용을 분석하였다. IBM SPSS 21.0 ver을 활용하였으며, x²검증과 독립표본 t검증의 차이검증을 수행하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 배드민턴 복식경기에서 선제공격은 “서비스 이후 이어지는 랠리 중 한쪽 편 선수들의 언더기술(언더리턴, 사이드 언더리턴 등, 코트의후방으로 길게 타구하는 기술)을 유도하여 다른 한쪽 편 선수들의 포메이션이 탑앤드탑 포메이션 또는 다이애거널포메이션으로 후방에서 타구하는 상황”이라고 정의할 수 있었다. 두 번째, 배드민턴 복식경기에서 선제공격에 따른득점내용에는 차이가 있었다. 특히 선제공격을 시도하였을 때 득점할 확률이 높아진다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 따라서 복식경기의 경우 서비스 이후 선제공격을 유도하기 위한 전술훈련이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between the first attack and the game result in playing doubles in badminton. To achieve the purpose of the research, we had two research questions to deal with. The first question was how badminton experts define the first attack. To solve the first research question, Delphi method was applied to 10 badminton experts three times. Based on this, we defined the first attack attempted in badminton doubles game. The second research question was whether the game result was different depending on the first attack attempted in badminton doubles game. To solve the second research question, we randomly collected the data of 35 doubles games held by the Badminton World Federation from 2013 to 2016. The collected videos were turned into data using the badminton match analysis program I-Minton and IBM SPSS program was used to verify the difference between x² and t-test. The conclusions are as follows. First, the first attack in badminton doubles game is defined as the “situation that players of one team bat toward the back side of the court in top and top formation or diagonal formation by inducing the other team's under-techniques(under return, side return, etc; for example, a skill that is batted toward the back side of the court longer by a player) of the rallies that happen after service.” Second, scoring pattern depending on the first attack showed a statistically significant difference. In particular, the chance of scoring when attempting the first attack gets higher. Therefore, in doubles game, tactical training is required to induce the first attack after service.
