상용통신체계와는 달리 군에서 사용하고자 하는 전술통신체계는 전술작전에 필요한 정보교환 요구량(IER:Information Exchange Requirement)의 반영이 필요하다. 특히 NCW(NCW: Network Centric Warfare)을 수행하는데 필수적인 전술정보통신체계(TICN: Tactical Information Communication Network)의 정보전송 신뢰성 보장과 최적화된 체계규모를 판단함에 있어서 정보교환 요구량에 대한 분석이 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전술정보 전송용 매트릭스 포맷과 전투 시나리오를 적용한 정보교환 요구량 예측 프로세스를 제안하고 2020년까지의 요구사항을 단계별 및 전장 기능별로 전술 C4I체계에서 요구하는 정보 유통량을 정량적으로 분석하였다.
Abstract
Unlike commercial communication systems, military communication systems which are required to operate under tactical conditions need to reflect the IER volume for efficient design. The analysis of the IER volume is required to assure the reliability of information transmissions and to optimize the scalability of TICN systems which are essential components in performing NCW. In this paper, we suggested the analysis process for estimating exchange demand, and analyzed the quantitative volume of IER required by tactical C4I systems for the future up to 2020 years in accordance with yearly-phase and each battlefield-functions.
