이청준의 『당신들의 천국』에 나타난알레고리 고찰

본고에서는 벤야민(W. Benjamin)의 알레고리론를 통해 이청준 소설의 알레고리가 가지는 형식과 내용상의 특성을 살펴보았다. 주체와 대상을 알레고리적 겹침으로 바라보는 이청준의 알레고리 기법은 1970년대의 억압적 상황에서 그 지속적 의미를 획득한다. 『당신들의 천국』에서 사실을 토대로, 그 사실을 넘어서 존재하는 진실을 찾아가는 것을 개인의 몫으로 돌리는 행위를 통해 유신체제의 사회적 상황에서 횡횡하던 전체주의적 사고에 대한 비판의식을 읽을 수 있다. 유토피아의 이름으로 미래의 이름으로 현재를 구속하려드는 사회체제에 대해 현실에 도움을 주지 못하는 이상, 집단의 이름으로 개인에게 일방적으로 부과되는 진실이란 얼마나 억압적인지를 드러내고 있다. 진실은 개개인에게서, 그리고 현실 속에서 다시 태어나야 한다는 작가의식을 드러내고 있다. 『당신들의 천국』은 작가의 그런 사고를 작품 속의 등장인물들과의 대화적 침투를 통해 형상화하고 있는 것이다.
Abstract
We considered Lee Chung-Zun's 『heaven of you』by using Benjamin's allegory. And through it, we found that the chracteristics of the form and the contents of Lee Chung-Zun's 『heaven of you』allegory is based on the spiral structures. We considered dialectic cooperate concept as a role of difference system of Signifikat, like Signifikant difference in metonymy and metaphor. And the reason the meaning line of text is spiral, is that it is un consciousness. It means that the meaning Ego is repeated by Others, and also the meaning of others are repeated by Ego. To Lee Chung-Zun, this allegory means that he used frame structure very often and himself is a narrator nearby. That is, the writer and the narrator are the spiral supporters of producing the mean. And there are also discriptions of character's recognition toward Others. Narrator has a strong meaning because it's inside and outside frame gives effectiveness each other, so it get's rid of the discourse structure. 『heaven of you』, one of Lee Chung-Zun's strong, has a structure hyst like a repite cultivated fiction with 3 visual points. That is, through each other's visual point, Jo Back-Han, Lee Sang- Uck, Hwang Hee- Back gets self-disconstruction. Lee Chung-Zun's allegory notation getting the Subject and the Opponent together gets meaning from that time's oppressive situation. He gives us an idea that if a social system, which is heading for Utopia and future, doesn't do with present then it is very stressful to grups and individual. Truth is shaped as a thing that has to be reconstructed in individuals and present.
