청소년문학 연구 담론 지형의 변화와 동향 분석 -텍스트 마이닝 기반 2000~2025년 관련 논문 분석을 중심으로-

본 논문은 2000~2025년 국내 청소년문학 관련 논문의 제목과 주제어를 대상으로, 단어 출현 빈도, n–gram PMI 및 핵심어 상관관계 네트워크, BTM 기반 토픽 모델링과 가중 로그 오즈비 등 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용하여 연구 지형과 변화를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, ‘성장’과 ‘자아’ 중심의 내면적 탐구와 ‘정체성’ 및 ‘타자’ 중심의 관계론적 탐구를 두 축으로 하고 있으며, ‘문학교육’ 담론이 제도적 적용에서 가치론적 탐색으로 심화되고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 ‘읽기’, ‘독자’ 등 수용 담론과 ‘교과서’, ‘교육과정’ 등 제도적 담론의 이원화, 도구적 접근의 약화와 장르적 외연의 확장, 동시대 문제의식과 실천적 담론이 부상하고 있음을 확인하였다. 나아가 초기 장르 형성을 위한 담론에서 이론적 탐색과 심화를 거듭하여 실천적 확장기로 나아가는 성숙기 단계에 진입하였음을 입증함으로써, 청소년문학 관련 연구 지형도를 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study empirically analyzed the research landscape and its evolution for Korean Young Adult Literature scholarship from 2000 to 2025 by applying text-mining techniques to article titles and keywords, including word-frequency counts, n-gram PMI, keyword correlation networks, Biterm Topic Model (BTM)-based topic modeling, and the weighted log-odds ratio. The analysis indicates that the field is organized around two axes: inward inquiry centered on “growth” and the “self,” and relational inquiry centered on “identity” and the “Other.” We also confirm that discourse on “literature education” has deepened from institutional application to axiological (value-oriented) exploration. In addition, we observe a two-track pattern between reception-oriented discourse (e.g., “reading,” “reader”) and institutional discourse (e.g., “textbook,” “curriculum”), a weakening of instrumental approaches alongside an expansion of generic scope, and the rise of contemporary problematics and practice-oriented discourse. Furthermore, by demonstrating a transition from early genre-formative discourse, through phases of theoretical exploration and deepening, into a mature stage characterized by practical expansion, this study contributes a mapped overview of the research landscape in Young Adult Literature studies.
