연행록 속 교유시의 양상과 의미 - 李時萬과 洪柱元의 차운시를 중심으로* -

본고는 1647년 사은겸동지사(謝恩兼冬至使)의 서장관과 정사로서 북 경을 다녀 온 이시만(李時萬)과 홍주원(洪柱元)이 연행 노정에서 지은 차운시를 통해 교유의 양상과 그 의미를 모색하는 데에 목적이 있다. 현전하는 연행 관련 자료의 양에 비해 대동소이한 여정과 목적, 사신단 구성 등 상대적으로 다양성이 떨어질 수밖에 없는 연행록 연구는 보다 미시적인 측면과 개인의 내적 측면에 집중해 살펴볼 필요성이 대두되고있는 시점이다. 또한 짧은 기간 동안 동일한 외부 환경들의 영향 하에서 이루어진 수창(酬唱)은 국내에서 이루어지는 일반적인 수창과 다소 변별되는 지점 들이 있을 것이라는 점 역시 연행 도중의 차운시를 살펴볼 이유 중 하 나이다. 이러한 환경이 시작(詩作)에 있어 어떤 창작 동인(動因)이 될 수 있는지, 이러한 동인이 차운(次韻)이라는 형식을 만났을 때 어떻게 발현되고 있는지 확인해 보고자 했다. 이러한 요소들을 분석하기에 해당 연행의 작품들은 기록의 충실성 면에서도 좋은 자료라고 할 수 있기 때문에 차운시를 비교·분석하며 교유시를 살펴보기에 적합하다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
This script is to examine the modality and meaning of social intercourses through Chaunsi written by Lee Si-Man and Hong Ju-Won visiting Beijing as Sujunggwan and Jungsa of Saeumgyeomdongjisa(謝恩兼冬至使) in 1647. Despite the large volume of records about Yeonhaeng, their journeys and purposes, and compositions of ambassadors were almost identical so most of studies on Yeonhaengrok were greatly restricted in their diversity. Therefore, it would be necessary to focus on the microscopic and internal aspect more. Also, due to the possibility that suchang made under influences of the same external environment in a short period of time could have some points differentiated from general suchang, it would be necessary to take a look into Chaunsi made during the visitation. This study aims to reveal what kind of an environment could be a motif for creation of a poem and how these motifs could be realized in the format of Chaun(次韻). Since works of the corresponding visit are suitable for the analysis of these factors, especially from the aspect of fidelity of records, so it would be proper to examine Gyoyusi in comparison and analysis of Chaunsi.
