한국 해군이 운용 중인 P-3C 해상초계기는 다양한 무장 및 음탐부표(Sonobuoy)를 탑재하여 유사시에 이들을 활용한 대 잠작전을 수행할 수 있다. 평시 충분한 훈련을 통해 대잠작전 능력 확보가 필요하나, 운용/군수지원 비용의 제약으로 인해 실 제 무장 및 음탐부표를 이용한 훈련 수행에는 한계가 있어 모의훈련이 가능한 체계의 구현이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 P-3C 성능개량사업을 통해 구현하고자 하는 음탐부표 모의투하 훈련장치 설계 개선방안에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.
Abstract
The P-3C anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft equipped with a variety of armed and sonobuoy, operated by the ROK Navy, can carry out anti-submarine warfare. It is necessary to secure the capability of anti-submarine warfare through sufficient training. However, there is a limit to the training using real sonobuoy due to the limitation of operation/logistics support costs.
