Objective: This study examined the structural relationships among self-efficacy, career out come expectations, and career preparation behavior in predicting career satisfaction, and fur ther analyzed whether these relationships differ according to participation in a university career program. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, and serial mediation analysis with the PROCESS macro. Results: Students who participated in career programs reported sig nificantly higher levels of career outcome expectations, career preparation behavior, and career satisfaction than non-participants. Self-efficacy had a direct effect on career satisfaction and an indirect effect through the serial mediation of career outcome expectations and career prepara tion behavior, with these relationships differing according to participation in career programs. Conclusions: This study, based on SCCT, examined the structural relationships among self-efficacy, career outcome expectations, career preparation behavior, and career satisfaction, thereby refining the linkage between personal beliefs, behaviors, and outcomes.
