쓰기 평가 연구의 경향과 과제 탐구

초록

쓰기 평가에 관한 연구도 이전에 비해 연구 성과들이 비교적 많이 도출되고 있지만 역시 미진한 분야 중의 하나이다. 교육의 효과를 높이기 위해서는 무엇보다 객관적이면서도 정확한 평가 자료의 확보가 중요하다는 점에서 쓰기 평가 연구의 중요성은 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않다. 최근 쓰기 평가에 관한 연구들은 평가 원리, 평가 준거, 평가 방법․도구 등의 전통적인 연구 과제에서 교수자의 평가 특성 및 평가 인식, 전문성 등으로 확장되는 추세이며 초․중등에 치중되었던 기존과는 달리, 대학 글쓰기가 중심을 이루는 것도 주목할 만한 변화이다. 이 연구에서는 쓰기 평가가 독립적인 연구 영역으로 자리 잡을 수 있는지에 관한 가능성을 탐색하는 차원에서 쓰기 평가의 성립 과정과 배경을 살피고 다양한 이론적 관점들의 국내로의 도입 과정에 대한 사적 접근을 시도하고자 한다. 더불어 쓰기 평가의 연구 범위와 영역을 규명함으로써 앞으로 지향해야 할 연구 방향을 모색하고자 한다.

Abstract

Recently a lot of works related to writing assessments are reported but they are not enough to cover that area. Writing assessments is important because objective and accurate assessments are required to achieve the efficiency of the education, Studies about writing assessments are focused on the principle of assessments, rubric, the methods of assessments and extend to the characteristics, perceptions, and of raters, and college level discussion has been paid attention to. This study shows the possibility that writing assessments can be one of the area of writing theories. We reviewed the history and backgrounds of writing assessments in USA and searched for various theoretic perspectives. Moreover, We tried to fix the range and areas of writing assessments in Korea.
