This study is a survey of opinion of residents and visitors about water-friendly environment, water-friendly image and water-friendly behavior of four ports on the northern coast of North Gyeongsang Province, Jukbyeon port and Hupo port of Uljin-gun, and Chuksan port and Ganggu port of Yeongdeok-gun, and its analysis that have been conducted to provide basic data for environmental improvement of the region. In this study are included an investigation of Environment conducted by residents, environmental perception of visitors to the region and their desire for water-friendly environment. Based on the data, this study made an improvement plan in terms of use, environmental ecology, landscape, disaster prevention/coast maintenance and tourism.
