정역의 후천 개벽윤리

Abstract

This paper is written to find posterior grand renewal ethics of the Right Change. It depends on the illuminating the thoughts of Kim Il-bu(1826-1898) in Right Change. His thoughts have significance of disorganizing and reconstructing I Ching beyond the traditional way of analysis. This is the pinnacle of Korean change philosophy and his originality attain the highest perfection. He interpreted that the final message of I Ching was grand renewal time and reconstruction of the inner structure. As a result， he demonstrates clearly that the Posterior change replace the First Heaven through the conversion of the order of time. So that he called grand renewal calendar as Right Change. This means the transition from the thought of reality to the thought of process. He renewed the core of proposition in Change and made clarification with I Ching. He overcame the limitation of traditional philosophist and opened the new horizon of Change. The founder of Eastern Learning, Suwun accepted Grand renewal often used a new term Reopening of Grand Renewal. His idea is that the universe should be completed through the muual communication between the earth and men following the Grand renewal. The reason why he used this new term was because he intended to emphasize the ethical role of human beings in the Grand renewal period. As the energy of the growth of Yang is being replaced with the dressing of Yin， it is inevitable that men need to receive the moral responsibility to comply with the changes of the universe. In particular， global citizenship and self-comprehension are particularly required to construct the new beautiful world where the heaven and men are communicated and to open the public peace and happiness. The purpose of this proposal is to emphasize men’s insight on the Grand renewal.
