Abstract

This study aimed to systematically analyze domestic literature on online grooming in order to identify research trends and derive key tasks for the development of prevention strategies. A total of 13 studies retrieved from domestic academic databases were analyzed. The studies were categorized into four approaches: prevalence-focused, policy and legal framework-focused, prevention-focused, and mechanism-focused. In addition, further analysis was conducted based on prevention stages (primary prevention, risk-awareness education, real-time intervention, victim response, and recovery and relapse prevention) and prevention strategies (education-based, technology-based, policy and legal-based, and expert/practitioner-based). The analysis revealed that domestic research primarily concentrates on examining the prevalence of online grooming and proposing policy-related tasks, while there is a lack of studies on technology-based real-time interventions, tailored prevention strategies for vulnerable groups, and empirical validation of prevention education. Accordingly, this study suggests the need for a multi-layered prevention framework that integrates technological, legal, and educational measures, the development of targeted strategies for vulnerable populations, the empirical evaluation of prevention education, and policy experiments to facilitate field application. This study is significant in that it provides a comprehensive overview of domestic research on online grooming prevention and offers a foundation for practical responses in the future.
