시조에 수용된 ‘아해’의 양상과 문학적 의미

Abstract

The current study extracted works of ‘아해’ in sijo, examined its writers, forms, vocabulary and types written and elucidated its roles and functions to clarify its meanings. First, we analyzed works containing ‘아해’ in sijo and they are 249 pieces in total and for writers, there were 127 pieces with 68 real names. And for forms of ‘아해’ in sijo, it appeared the most in the last of the 3 verses of sijo as 166 times and repeated forms appeared slightly. In addition, for written forms and vocabulary, those written in Korean were take up majority of them as 230 times and for vocabulary, ‘아희’ was the most as 126 pieces. Second, we examined literary meaning of ‘아해’ and types of verses in sijo. Above all, for literary meaning, it was found that ‘아’ not only means children but also indicates adults and general people. Third, we examined the role and functions of ‘아해’ in sijo in terms of content and form. First of all, it was being converted into dialogic style in the formal role and functions and it was playing as the first word of the last of the 3 verses. Meanwhile, it was strengthening thematic consciousness boosting a poetic atmosphere in terms of content. Finally, it was found that for the role and meaning of ‘아해’ in sijo, above all, it strengthened formal features, that it materializes writers' poetic images, and that it plays a role as a literary device etc.
