대학의 해외취업지원 프로그램에 대한 이해관계자 간의 인식 차이: 대학일자리센터를 중심으로

2000년대에 들어서면서 해외취업이 지속적으로 증가하면서 국가 차원의 해외취업지원 프로그램 또한 매년 늘어나고 있다. 청년들의 국제 경쟁력 향상, 국가 이미지 제고 등 장점에도 불구하고 최근, 단순노동 업무, 저(低) 질의 일자리, 일자리 미스매치 등 문제점이 드러나고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 해외취업지원 프로그램에대한 이해관계자들의 인식을 알아보면서, 특히 시행측과 참가측으로 나눠 서로의 차이점과 공통점을 분석 및 비교해보았다. 분석 결과, 시행측에서는 세 가지 유형, 즉 정부지원⋅기업선택 중시형, 스펙⋅현지연수 중시형, 흥미적성⋅동기유발 중시형으로 나타났다. 참가측 또한 세 가지 유형, 즉 해외경험 중시형, 흥미적성 중시형, 진로적성 중시형으로 나타났다. 양측의 모든 유형이 공통적으로 동의하거나 부정하는 진술문은 나타나지 않았으며, 특히 두드러지는 차이점으로, 시행측은 대체적으로 정부지원금의 중요성을, 참가측은 양질의 취업처의 중요성을 강조하는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
Entering into the 2000s, as overseas employment has risen, overseas employment programs at a national level have also been increased. It can be fair to say that those programs have greatly contributed to enhancing global competitiveness of young people as well as enhancing the image of Korea in the world. Despite all those advantages, however, some problems have been revealed, mostly about poor-quality work and job mismatch between job seekers’ interest and job opportunities offered by the government’s program. With that said, this study has explored and compared what different thoughts stakeholders on the overseas employment programs have, in particular by dividing the respondents into two sides, providers’ and recipients’. According to the result, for the providers’ side, it has shown that there are three different recognition types: government support⋅company-type centered, background⋅on-the-spot training centered, and personal interest⋅motivation centered. For the recipients’ side, three types have also appeared significantly different: overseas experience centered, personal interest centered, and career centered. Unfortunately, two sides have had no single similar factor but mostly had different opinions on the overseas employment program: particularly securing quality jobs.
