This study delves into the sociocultural implications underlying pre- cision and synchronized execution in the dance style "칼군무" (Kalgunmu), also known as synchronized dancing. The research explores the factors contributing to Kalgunmu's roles in K-pop culture, investigat- ing its aesthetic meanings and cultural significance. Kalgunmu places a strong emphasis on fostering harmony among its members, highlighting their commitment and sense of belonging. Through the deliberate emphasis on meticulously coordinated and synchronized movements, Kalgunmu conveys a message of "different yet unified us," ef- fectively portraying both individual skill and collective unity. The concept of unwavering precision within group dancing in K-pop transcends mere a aesthetic rubric, intertwining with a broader ethical evaluation on individuals. Kalgunmu symbolizes a sociocultural per- spective that places value on collective harmony over individual prowess. Through flawless and synchronized execution, it acquires socially upheld Korean virtues of sincerity and sense of belonging.
