약물치료 보호관찰대상자의 사회재활프로그램에 관한 연구

초록

본 연구는 약물의존자를 대상으로 새로운 재활 프로그램을 구성하기 위한 기초연구이다. 현재 한국에서는 약물남용에 대한 대응을 의학적 처치나 법적 처벌로서만 접근하고 있을 뿐 단약과 사회 복귀를 위한 재활프로그램은 거의 전무한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 약물의존자를 위한 영성적 재활프로그램을 개발하기 위한 기초연구로써 프로그램을 개발하고 이에 참여한 대상자들의 경험을 연구해보고자 시도되었다. 본 연구의 약물남용 재활 프로그램은 명상, 입관식, 등산 등을 중심으로 영성적 프로그램을 구성하였으며 본 연구의 참여대상자는 약물남용으로 인해 법원으로부터 수강명령을 받은 7명의 성인들로 구성되었다. 연구 분석에서 연구자들은 인터뷰 내용을 녹취한 내용과 관찰자에 의한 현장노트를 사용하였다. 또한 약물 재활 프로그램은 단기적 효과보다 장기적 효과가 중요한데 프로그램 개입 이후 약 2년 동안 관계를 유지하면서 단약의 여부를 확인하였다. 본 연구의 분석은 야스퍼스의 현상학적 방법을 통해 약물 남용자들의 프로그램 개입 후 어떠한 변화가 야기되었는지를 중심으로 진행되었다. 그 결과 프로그램이 진행되기 전 참여자들은 부정적인 거부반응을 보였으나 점차적으로 변화된 모습을 볼 수 있었는데 구체적으로는, 한계성 체험, 용서 및 수용, 삶의 의미, 개방된 마음을 볼 수 있었으며 종료시점에서는 단약에 대한 의지를 면담을 통해 확인하였다. 본 연구는 향후 영성적 약물의존 재활프로그램을 구성하는데 기초자료로써 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 특히 참여자들의 영성적 체험에 대한 기술과 관찰자들의 관찰내용은 약물의존자들을 위한 치료 전략 및 제도 수립 시 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이라 사료된다. 하지만 본 연구는 영성적 접근의 약물재활 프로그램을 단기적 체험에 대해서만 살펴보았기 때문에 후속연구에서는 영성적 접근 이후 약물의존자들의 장기적 경험 세계에 대해 연구할 필요가 있을 것이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is developing s program based on Spirituality for substance - abuser in order to help them rehabilitated and protect from substances. Today, in Korea, despite of increasing the number of drug-related crimes steadily for the last decade. there is no a unit for rehabilitating drug addicts but criminal penalty and medical treatment. So this research tries to help playing a major role in rehabilitating them and contributes to basic study in the future in this area. We make a rehabilitated program based on spirituality. Its focus is their Spiritual experience during they take part in this program. This program consists of the meditation, the rites of placing the body in a coffin and the hiking, Seven adult persons who are incarcerated in prison by illegal drug use are studied for this inquire. After this program, we interview them focused on their spiritualty. Instruments of our analysis are used in recorder and field note. We offer the best follow-up service their giving up substance for 2 years also. In particular, it stress on the spiritualty dimension, so we highlight on the experience of death, nature, intrinsic. The developed program carried out at a oo probation office on December, 2006. and for this analysis, we used the Qualitative Method which is the description of existential phenomenology. The result is participants experience forgiveness, acceptance, limitations, openness. These are basic ingredients for Spirituality. Most of important. after they were participated this program, we identified their change. They have a strong mind of giving up drugs and feel change of themselves. So we suggest this program is applicable and have the possibility of rehabilitation for substance - abuser forward. But this was the short term program, so we boldly decided it is self-efficiency high.
