여성주의 안에 나타나는 딜레마에 대한 이해 시도

이 연구는 한국 여성주의의 이슈들이 딜레마에 놓여있다는 문제의식에서 출발한 것이다. 우리나라 여성주의 안에서는 모성, 성매매, 낙태, 여성의 정치화 등의 문제들은 대립적구조의 논쟁가운데 있지만 그 가운데 어느 것을 선택해도 여성 이슈에 맹점을 드러낼 수밖에 없다. 그럼에도 불구하고 하나를 선택하는 방식의 여성운동은 여성들에게 혼란을 야기 시킨다고 보인다. 그러나 실상 딜레마의 문제는 서로 다른 맥락적인 지식들의 충돌이고 여성주의와 여성 운동 안에서 혼란은 이러한 맥락적인 지식을 다루는 차이의 문제에 익숙하지 않아서 나타난 것이다. 따라서 이 연구는 차이를 주장했던 흑인 여성주의, 동시적으로 일어나는 억압, 제3세계를 위한 사이보그 이론을 제시한 도나 하러웨이와 같은 여성주의자들의 사례를 통해서 차이가 다루어지는 방식에 관한 연구를 시도하였다. 그리고 정치사회학적인 맥락 속에서 차이의 메커니즘을 설명하고 있다. 즉 타고난 것이 아니라 권력적인 관계 속에서 획득되는 정체성에 주목하여 차이를 다중적인 정체성으로 설명을 시도하였다. 다중적인 정체성은 차이를 경험하는 여성들을 설명하기 위한 대한 새로운 존재론적인 시도이고 이때 나타나는 딜레마란 해결될 수 있는 것이 어떤 것이 아니라 차이들의 경합으로 생겨난 필연적인 현상이라는 결론이 이른다. 그리고 글로리아 안젤두아와의 이론을 통해서 다중적인 정체성을 가진 사이보그 삶속에서 여성 들이 어떻게 딜레마를 배척하지 않고 살아갈수 있는가에 대한 제안을 하고 있다.
Abstract
This study starts from the critical mind of dilemmas in many issues in Korean feminist movements. For Examples, motherhood, prostitution, abortions and politicalization of women are located in dilemma situations. This is also causing many confusions in women's life. However, the issue of dilemma comes from the conflict of differences of contextual knowledge. In other word, the issue of dilemma is the issue of differences which Korean feminist activists are not familiar with. Therefore the study examines several feminist theories which claim their difference such as, black feminism, simultaneous oppression theory, and cyborg theory for the third world women's life. Through these theories the study explainsthe mechanism of difference which have social-political meanings. That is, the mechanism of differences are explained by the concept of multiple identities which is considered as a new ontology. This let us know that dilemma can not be solved but we can understand the mechanisms of how dilemmas are produced. We can not avoid dilemmas as if we can not avoid the reality of differences. In conclusion, the study finishes with the suggestion how to live cyborg life which holds dilemma through Gloria Anzadua's understandings, ‘Rigidity means death, Only by remaining flexible is she able to stretch the psyche horizontally and vertically’.
