Abstract

A Study of Gao Xingjian's 『Yi ge ren de Shengjing』 Lee, Young-koo In 2000 the Sweden Royal Society awarded the first Nobel prize of the literature to Gao Xing jian, an author who writes in Chinese.His river novel 『Yi ge ren de Shengjing』 is to describe the frightening insanity of the Culture Revolution in China, and to animadvert flintily on the fabricant of the insanity ----Chinese Communist Party and the leader Mao.As this for a basis, the author uses "you" and "I" two persons to tell of his experience of the hegira in an autobiographical way, including Anti- rightist struggle which he undergone by himself and An event of Tienanmen which he did not experienced. Then it is to reveal the weak inbeing of the human nature, and thereout to find out the road of liberty eventually, which leads him from heaven to hell.Heaven is in the grottos of women, but the liberty is in the speech of the non-ism.
