Abstract

The Structure of Conflicts by Globalization in China Kang, Jin-seok Since the beginning of the 1990's, China has begun to globalize. Following the changes to the 1997-98 Asian Financial Crisis and entry into the WTO(in 2001), the effect of globalization in China has increased.It is to be classified into economic globalization, political globalization, cultural globalization. Among them, political globalization and cultural globalization have become noticeable.The phenomenon of globalization in China is what was built up in forms of 'dialectic unification' rather than 'contradiction in unification'.Suppose we take an extensive view of such contradictory conception, it includes a complicated element such as 'contradiction between order and a logical leap', 'contradiction between dismantlement and rebuild' and 'contradiction between opportunity and challenge'.The structure of conflicts in China was expressed in terms of contradictory conflication in cultural idea and economic system.The collision of cultural idea appeared 'the collision between traditional values and modern values', 'the collision between economical values and spiritual values' and 'the collision between nationalism and globalization of culture'. Furthermore, the discrepancy in economic system appeared in forms of XiaGang, Income Disparity, and the Regional Differentiation.Even though China government and intellectuals struggle to cope with the structure of conflicts, there are limitations in their discussions that not being able to approach the levels to be specific and professional.
