Abstract
In China`s foreign affairs for energy and regional safety, southeast Asia countries is definitely a focal point. China`s leaders understand that they need a peaceful and stable international environment to pursue their goal of economic development. And China try to prove itself to be a good neighbor, good friend and good partner of the surrounding countries. China have established a partnership with most of her neighbouring countries, especially in south-east Asia. And China is an active participant in and staunch supporter for the regional cooperation in Asia. It plays a positive role in such Asia-based mechanisms as ASEAN+China, ASEAN+China, Japan and ROK, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, ASEAN Regional Forum, and Asian Cooperation Dialogue. China has achieved initial success in implementing its "go-out strategy", which encourages domestic enterprises to invest overseas, giving a push to the growth of export-oriented economy. in the strategy of China`s foreign affairs for energy and regional safety, overseas' Chinese network is definitely important in this region.
